Stop by a meeting:

General meetings are held every Wednesday in the Thomas Building at 7:30. During the Spring Semester of 2010, meetings will be held in 220 Thomas. Please check the Event Calendar or the Mailing List for any changes. We always welcome new, old, and current members to attend. Mostly just hang out, talk about new ideas, and plan events like ourAnual Arts Crawl, our Anual Music/ Video Festival, our Monthly Open Mic Nights, etc.

Officer’s meetings are held every Monday at 7:30 in the HUB Robeson Center. Anyone is welcome to attend these meetings as well, but officers are expected to attend.

The Mailing List:

The SOMA list serv will provide you with information on meetings and will let you know what cool events are going on. Feel free to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time. Danny Greene will in no way find out. Nor will he follow this up by sneering at you when you pass him on Pollock Road on the way to class.

The Street Team:

The SOMA Street Team is the PR committee that helps to get the word out about the club and our events. Its one of the most important and rewarding parts of the club because it really makes a difference. Generally takes a commitment of 1 hour a month and helps tremendously. Email psuSOMA@gmail.com for more information.

Volunteer for an Event:

Also one of the most fun things to do to help out, SOMA always needs people to help on the day of an event. This is where you get to meet and hang out with the bands, the artists, the filmakers, and truly contribute to the success of the event. Check the Mailing List and the Events Calendar to see when events are. And then come to a meeting to sign up, or send an email to psuSOMA@gmail.com .
